Student Assistant – Development Team (gn)
We are looking for a Student Assistant - Development (gn) for part-time work (20 hours per week) to start September 2026.
You will be working closely with Principal Development Operations on research, data entry and maintenance, and event coordination.
Your tasks:
- Carry out data entry and maintenance within the CRM system.
- Support in reporting and analysis, using Microsoft Excel and online tools.
- Conduct research on prospective partnerships and support in due diligence checks.
- Support the drafting and distribution of communications materials via online mass mailing system or mail merge, ensuring timely and effective outreach.
- Proof-reading and translating texts between English and German.
- Support the planning and execution of Development Team events in Berlin, arranging venue, catering, and on-site support as needed.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
Your profile:
- Applicants must be an enrolled student at a German university. Hertie School students cannot be considered for this position due to data protection.
- Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Basic experience in data and project management is an advantage.
- Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
