Student Assistant – Development Team (gn)


We are looking for a Student Assistant - Development (gn) for part-time work (20 hours per week) to start September 2026.

You will be working closely with Principal Development Operations on research, data entry and maintenance, and event coordination.

Your tasks:

  • Carry out data entry and maintenance within the CRM system.
  • Support in reporting and analysis, using Microsoft Excel and online tools.
  • Conduct research on prospective partnerships and support in due diligence checks.
  • Support the drafting and distribution of communications materials via online mass mailing system or mail merge, ensuring timely and effective outreach.
  • Proof-reading and translating texts between English and German.
  • Support the planning and execution of Development Team events in Berlin, arranging venue, catering, and on-site support as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support as required.
Your profile:

  • Applicants must be an enrolled student at a German university. Hertie School students cannot be considered for this position due to data protection.
  • Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Basic experience in data and project management is an advantage.
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
