2. Applicant Data
The Hertie School will use the details you provide on your application form, together with the supporting documents requested and additional details provided by any referees and recorded following any interview process. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 88 DS-GMO in conjunction with ARTICLE 26 BDSG.

- and an application photo.
You can enter the data manually in our application form or agree to the transfer of data from your LinkedIn profile.
3. How the information collected is used
Until you submit an application to the Hertie School, the information you enter using the online application form will not be made accessible to anyone, and will be retained for the sole purpose of enabling you to apply for a vacancy in future. Your email address will be used only to contact you with important information regarding the application process.
Based on a separate agreement on the processing of personal data, your personal data will be used by the Company

4. Storage and deletion of data
Your data will be automatically deleted within six months after completion of the specific application procedure. This does not apply if legal provisions prevent deletion, if further storage is necessary for the purpose of providing evidence or if you have expressly agreed to longer storage.
5. Your data protection rights
You have, at any time, the right to gain knowledge of the data stored by the Hertie School (Art. 15 DS-GVO). Furthermore, you have a right to correct (Article 16 DS-GMO), cancel (Article 17 DS-GMO) or to limitate the use of data (Article 18 DS-GMO) and a right to data transferability (Article 20 DS-GMO).
There is still a right of appeal to the respective supervisory authority on data protection at any time. To do so, please contact the Landesbeauftragte/n für den Datenschutz Berlin, Friedrichstraße 219, 10969 Berlin.
6. Your right of objection
If you have given your consent for the processing of your data (Art. 6 para. 1 a or Art. 9 para. 2 a DS-GMO), you have the right to revoke this consent at any time (Art. 7 para. 3 DS-GMO).
Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time with effect for the future (Art. 21 DS-GMO).
